Ten years ago an idea was born from a need to reinvent, refuel and relaunch a lifetime of designing. It was time to channel my creative soul to a medium that lead to exploring colour, texture and composition – my most favourite elements of design.
Like any new venture, I headed in a bit tentative, nervous, unsure of how people would respond to my designing jewelry and no longer clothing. Needless to say, the feedback was positive and as Klas squared began to grow, my confidence in my designs, my brand and my message grew too. As I had more opportunity to connect with female professionals within my community, I learned that not only was my jewelry helping to accessorize an outfit, it had the power to help women feel more confident at work and at home.
Femininity and empowerment are key aspects of every piece of jewelry I design and as we mark the 10 year anniversary of Klas squared, I am overflowing with ideas of how to reach more women to wear their power. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss a beat!
