This weekend I had the opportunity to be a sponsor at Money, Mindset & Marketing in Ottawa, ON. The conference, hosted by business coach Lisa Larter, gave entrepreneurs an opportunity to learn how to grow their business by taking the first step: changing their mindset. While we all rallied to leave our comfort zones and believe in the possibilities for our businesses, Lisa reminded us that being successful comes from being a go-giver. That the power of your network comes from your connection with people. By giving service to your clients, your employees and your community, you are on the path to success. And as this wonderful group of people gathered to share ideas and inspiration we also rallied to give back to a wonderful cause: Jonathan Pitre, the Butterfly Boy.
When Klas squared launched the #WearYourPower campaign, we wanted to recognize women who had shown us authenticity in their strength and leadership, while giving back to the community to enable all women (people) to feel empowered. During the event, Klas squared donated $25 of every Power Piece sold to the Pitre family while also donating a piece to a silent auction and another to Jonathan’s mother, Tina. And this is just the beginning. I am looking for opportunities where I can both support and sponsor events to help my inner go-giver provide opportunities to those in the community to find their power in life. Please leave a comment below or contact us directly if there is an event that we can be a part of to encourage and enable more women to #WearYourPower.
