It feels like we’ve been waiting a lifetime but the sun is shining and spring is finally here with summer just around the corner! We can’t help but love this time of year as it gives a source of inspiration for designing jewelry and creating new content to share with you. And with the seasons changing, comes a feeling of rejuvenation and a fresh start for not only our minds and our bodies, but also our closets.
Earth day inspired us to think about sustainability and our impact on the environment. Especially during a time of year that inspires “spring cleaning”: an opportunity to eliminate the clutter from our homes and dispose of items that have become worn, aged or irrelevant. At Klas squared we have made it part of our mission to use sustainable processes, practices and materials in designing each collection to ensure we are making the world a better place. For example, we strive to create zero waste by keeping all unused materials including metals that can be melted and reused. But what do you when you look at that same summer dress for the fourth season in a row knowing you’ll never wear it again? How do you make sure the next dress you buy was made using sustainable practices? We’ve answered your questions and included our tips and tricks for being green. Leave a comment and let us know your favourite way to take care of our planet.
Often the best items from our closets are those we can wear repeatedly as they are true to our personal style and we are always discovering new ways to style them. In an effort to help you curate a closet full of pieces you love, we will be live on Sunday, May 27th @ 3pm to share how your Klas squared jewelry can go even further in accessorizing your wardrobe – with a surprise ending! If you have a question about a piece that you’ve been wanting to ask, make sure to send us a note so we can cover it in our broadcast.
And if something inspires you during our Live that you want to see up close and personal, join us at the King West Pop-Up June 2 & 3. Can’t make it? We are always available for private appointments in London and Toronto, and happy to coordinate calls over FaceTime!
Happy Victoria Day and until next time,
Lori & Kirsten
